Another successful outcome for DLL Law Group!
Following bench trial, a Colorado Federal Court awarded $1.3 million to Payment Brokers Group, a Colorado based credit card ISO against four Dallas based insurance benefits marketing companies for breach of contract.
The Defendants had agreed to provide Payment Brokers Group with certain levels of their credit card processing in exchange for better rates and cheaper fees. Rather than live up to their contractual obligations, the Defendants moved their business to Payment Broker Group’s competitors.
In a complete an unequivocal victory, the Court rejected all of Defendants arguments and awarded Payment Brokers Group its full amount of lost profits requested at trial. DLL Law Group partner Chris Lindstrom, who oversees all the firm’s litigation in Colorado, added: “This was a very complicated case give me the subject matter. However, we were able to successfully explain all the intricacies of credit card processing to the court and ultimately were able to get a well-deserved and great win for the client.”
